so it begins...
...too many shaky memories.
anyway, nick leBel here, and i wanted to salute jessica (but my name's got a capital "B", jess, come on...) for putting the blog up so quickly and making it look so greely-esque. well done, well done.
OK, so this is ground zero for the movement towards a fall '06 Reunion! for everyone who finds this from the class of '96, welcome, and i truly hope that you guys are interested in reconnecting, or at least coming together for one night to say hello and let us know what you're up to.
since jess is sharing, i will, too: living in north conway, NH as a copywriter and editor for a fantastic advertising/web design firm, skiing my brains out, riding my mountain or road bike every day, and playing lots of rugby! no ring, no kids, no worries! and i write with lots of exclamation points!
i really hope this gets the ball rolling, and can't wait to hear from you all!
cheers,
nick

I'll share a comment I made to Nick a few weeks ago when I learned that "the day" might be the day after Thanksgiving.
Speaking for myself, it would be extremely difficult to celebrate Thanksgiving with my family in Florida and then make it back home the following day. Whatever point Nick made about the advantage of having the reunion that day was a good one, but I can't recall it at this moment. But I know it was valid.
Are there other dates in mind?
I agree that Thanksgiving is tough, for those of us spread around the country. Unfortunately, I'm not sure I have a better idea! If it is Thanksgiving weekend, I would at least say *not* Friday night, because that really rules out the possibility of traveling to Maine if you have to be elsewhere for the holiday dinner.
