first off, thanks to jess, nab, mary, sarah and paul for getting this whole thing off the ground and rolling... this is gearing up to be a very, very good time - and we might even pull this off without scrambling at the last minute. or not, but who cares, it's going smoothly now!

as for me, i just wanted to let everyone know what i've been up to lately since i have control of the blog and nobody can stop me. (...and anyone wanting to send information to be posted, please feel free to email me at nick@glengroup.com, i'm looking forwrad to hearing from y'all!) basically, i moved to the mountains of north conway, NH in 2000 to become a copywriter, and six years later, that's what i am.

i also ski my brains out, and have become a pretty avid and unsuccessfully competitive mountain biker, mostly because that's what you do here when the snow melts. which is OK with me - as a matter of fact, here's a nice shot taken at around 1:25 in the morning at the 2006 24 hours of great glen mountain bike race in pinkham notch, NH. i swore i would never do it again last year, yet there i was last weekend, cursing in the dark...

i can't wait to hear from each and every one of you, and hope that this finds you guys well!
