big updates!

hey all -

OK, in between slacking off at work and following the T.O. "suicide attempt fiasco" on ESPN.com all day, i've found the time to make a decent-sized update. so, without further ado (in order of being received):

I felt the need to give a small detail about what I have done in 10yrs.. even though I hate to think that it has been that long! anyway..long story short. went to college... graduated.. (associates in early childhood)..was a nanny for almost 5 years..while working at pats pizza and at Bow St. Market doing bookwork and now here we are... Along the way while working at pats pizza during high school and college I met Mike, who now is my husband... we are living in freeport on the water, where we have completely renovated and built an addition to a camp of my husbands family into a home for us..we have done a lot of work ourselves so it has been a long 5 years..(i think it has been that long) we have been married for almost 2 years now and have a beautiful little girl named Ella... I have a child care in our home and I am completely enjoying being a stay at home mom.. It is sad to think that I just summed up my life in the past 10 yrs into a paragraph.. but i think i managed it well.. very brief and to the point..

the reunion should be fun.. thanks for all the work!

I have recently been back in Maine for a short visit (my brother Tyler's wedding), and heard of this site through Jennifer Barschdorf, figured since my name was on the list of MIA it might be a good idea to let my original classmates know that I am still alive and kickin. Unfortunatly I will not be coming to the reunion, I live in New Zealand, but will be sending good thoughts to everyone and wishing that I could be there to see you all and learn from your various experiences. After moving to Southern Oregon in 96, I continued to pursue longer, more arduous plane rides home and followed work opportunities to the Southern Hemisphere. Actually, my heart was broken and I fled to make things a bit more exciting! So for the past 3.5 years I have resided in Kiwiland guiding for a company out of Queenstown (yes, Nick L. skiing on some of the slopes we used to drool over from the Blizzard of Ahhhs! and taking a helicopter to work every day). Life there is definetly a bit upside down by comparison to Maine, but it's a good one and I plan to live there for a little while longer at least. It was really nice being back in Maine for a while, I miss my old classmates and think and wonder after most everyone often. I would love to hear from someone, anyone, it gets a bit lonely down there (since visiting is rough for people being so far away) so drop me a line! If there is an adventure needed by any of you then pay me a visit and we can jump off and out of some things together to induce fear and help us enjoy this life just a little bit more.

Truly all the best, hope to see you soon. Ryan

awesome to hear from RT via the southern hemisphere - he even sent photo evidence... which will be uploaded when blogger.com stops being snippy.

the stuff's pouring in, and the countdown is OFFICIALLY on...
